We are excited to announce the opening of the 2023 Food Safety Grant. This grant opportunity would provide financial assistance for purchasing equipment, training, and technical assistance to food pantries and feeding programs to support their organization’s infrastructure food safety and distribution of foods to their clients. The grant funding can be applied for using the attached document. I have listed some basics of the grant funding application below.

Applications will be accepted from 8/1/23-9/15/23 at 5:00 pm CST.

Eligibility: 

Operate within Peoria, Tazewell, or Woodford County501 c) 3) status or not-for-profit

Awards:

Applications will be scored by review team. Rubric is included in the application.

Up to $500.00 per award

Notified by 10/20/23 if grant application approved
